The Silicon Promise ("Warranty")
Unlike some other "repair" companies our warranty isn't ambiguous.
What does the Warranty cover?
The warranty only covers damage to the repaired device as a result of a repair carried out by us or a faulty part. The warranty covers the replacement of faulty parts determined by an assessment carried out by Silicon Repairs.
If I get my device repaired by another shop/service will I still be covered?
Unfortunately we can't cover your device if it has been repaired by another shop/service, however, we will consider the factors on a case-by-case basis.
Is the Warranty transferable?
Yes, the warranty applies regardless of owner.
How will you correct any problems?
We will perform a free diagnosis on the device. We will replace the affected parts using new or refurbished replacement parts, free of charge.
If my device is lost or damaged while in transit to your repair centre, to be repaired under warranty, who is to blame?
The transit company, as all methods of device transport should be insured, therefore, the cost of parts to fix / repair the device will be covered by the transit company, if this is not the case, then the customer shall assume all risk of loss or damage while in transit, unless deemed otherwise by us (the company).
How do I obtain Warranty service?
All customers should contact us via email or phone.
How do I know the length of my Warranty?
The length of warranty is clearly displayed on all invoices and repair orders, if you can't find the length of warranty contact us with your repair number at hand.
By authorising Silicon Repairs (a trading style of Space Services Group Limited) to carry out a repair, you agree to the terms of this warranty.
